上海新型建材岩棉有限公司，原名“上海新型建材矿棉厂”，隶属于上海建筑材料（集团）总公司，地处上海市青浦工业园区，占地面积约为6万平方米，员工300余人，其中工程技术人员约为60余人.

1986年从日本日东纺织株式会社引进整套矿棉生产线，2002年自主开发新建一条具有国内先进水平矿棉生产线，并于2009、2010年通过自有技术对两条生产线进行了岩棉生产工艺改造，年生产能力4万吨，连续多年保持国内同行业产销量第一。产品远销欧洲、北美、日韩、东南亚、中东及港台地区。主要产品有：外墙外保温专用岩棉、屋面专用岩棉板、防火岩棉板、船用岩棉制品、彩钢夹芯板专用岩棉、岩棉铁丝网缝毡和玻纤布缝毡、农用岩棉制品、保温管壳和岩棉工程纤维等。
